Tule Ponds at Tyson
MAMMALS

There are many vertebrates at Tule Ponds at Tyson Lagoon.  Birds dominate the landscape more than any other invertebrate.  The food source allows birds to flourish in this area.  Mammals are limited to small representatives like rodents  and squirrels, with occasional raccoon and opossum.  Amphibians and reptiles seem to be present but not in large numbers.

Fish dominate the aquatic environment and are mainly toleratnt of warm temperatures.  Fish provide food for the aquatic birds that inhabit the area.
