Tule Ponds at Tyson Lagoon
October 25, 2008 (Saturday)

Over 70 people came to help work on different projects at  Tule Ponds on "Make a Difference Day."  We were one of the sites all around the City of Fremont, to increase awareness that community members can help worthwhile causes.  We had students from American H.S., Irvington H.S., Moreau Catholic School in Hayward, Thornton Jr. High, St Joseph, Fremont Christian, Liberty H.S. in Brentwood, St Edward School in Newark, Prince of Peace, Brookvale,  Warwick, and Horner J.H.    We also had a service club from Diablo Valley College bring several members.  The Exchange Club of Fremont also was represented as was Tri City Ecology.    Cub Scouts from Pack 163 also helped  plant milkweed to be used in our butterfly meadow.

Cub scout pack 163 worked with staff to plant milkweed for our butterfly meadow.
