Science is important because of all the new technology which has improved many inventions and ideas.  Another reason science is important is because people need to know how the world works and how things in it effect our lives and future.  Also it is important because the scientific thoughts have interpreted and helped people's lives.  In science we learn about different kinds of animals and where they live.  We learn about plants, how grow and how long it takes for them to grow.  Science is important because we learn about the food chain.  We learn how to keep our bodies healthy.

Science is important because it has an enormous influence on our lives.  It provides the basis of much of modern technology the tools, materials, techniques and sources of power that makes our lives and work easier.

Modern science and technology have changed our lives in many dramatic ways.  Airplanes, automobiles, computers, plastics and televisions are only a few of the technological inventions that have transformed human lives.

The harmful effects some technological applications of science have led some people to be puzzled.  But science itself is neither good or bad.  The uses that businesses, governments, and individuals choose to make of scientific knowledge determine whether that knowledge will help or harm society.

Why is science important?  That is an easy question to answer.  Science is life.  However, that answer is too general, so I will explain how and why it is important.

Without science, there would be no Earth.  Without science, we would have nothing to wonder about and there would be no life.  There are many types of science.  Science stretches our imagination to our wildest dreams.  Biological science brings us to learning about all of the living organisms in life.  Among the tiniest of the living organisms, there are cells.  We are all made up of trillions and trillions of these microscopic cells.  Without the element of biology added to the other major elements that create science, we would not be alive.

Another major element of science is Chemistry.  Chemistry is the field of science which consists of learning about chemicals.  There are different types of chemicals.  there are colored ones, thick ones, explosive ones and event ones that burn through you!  when mixed they form a chemical reaction.  This can be violent, resulting in explosion, fizzing, or popping.  There are three types of pH in the field of chemicals.  They are acid, with a pH of 0-6; neutral with a pH of 7; and base, with a pH of 8-14.  When acids and bases are mixed, a violent chemical reaction may result.  Without this we would have no wonder of experimenting to create artificial chemicals.

Physical Science is another major element of science.  It is the study of the World, such as how mountains are formed.  Using physical science, scientists found out how PANGEA broke apart.  We all probably wondered what happened to PANGEA before scientists found that out.

Whatever way you think, science is life.  Without it, we would have nothing.  We wouldn't be surviving if science hadn't brought us to knowing what chemicals and elements weresamd and which would kill us.  Our powerful NASA Space Division wouldn't be real.  We wouldn't be wondering who would be the first person on Mars.  No one would care about reaching extraterrestrial life forms on other planets.  This is why science is important.

Science is important because without science we wouldn't have everything we have today.

Science is almost everything without science we would not have all of our household objects, computers, video games, stereos and TV.  If we did not have science or scientists who dedicate themselves to science we would probably be like the early cavemen (without clothes) who had to use clubs and branches from trees to kill their food.

Also the environment or the whole world would be disgusting.  The other important things are the types of medicine doctors use.  They take the medicines from scientists who discovered the medicine and have seen how they work.  There are also other scientists who take snake poison and turn it is not medicine for a certain sickness.

To me science is not boring, to other people it is.  But if you go out and explore the world of science you will see that it is more than you would expect.  So you shuld respect science and try to understand it better.  That is the reason science is important.
