PROBLEM:  Do different fabrics have different characteristics?
PREDICTION:

PROCEDURE: Use the magnetic ball and rods and create your own polymer.  Remember it has to look like a chain.  Sketch at least 3 different polymers.  

 

 



MATERIALS:   pieces of different fabric; Guide to Fibers
Look at the different fabrics under the microscope and draw a single fiber and the pattern of the weave.
