LESSON 5.  Surface Area and Volume  (Lab)

PROBLEM: Does the volume on object have any relationship to its surface area?

HYPOTHESIS:

MATERIALS:  
Lab sheet, ruler, glue stick, scissors

  1. Cut out the 4 different cubes and make them.  Measure and fill in the information below.  Make sure you label each cube.

  1. Graph your information below.   Use a ruler and make a graph similar to the one in the reader.  However, make your units appropriate to the information that you collected and label the axes.  After you finish your graph, is the shape similar to the one in the reader?
