Materials to Ask For

Parents can be very helpful in getting consumable materials. For each of the cycles you can create a list of materials. As an example, below is a list of materials that are consumed every year during the Applied Science. You can send this flyer with the information sheet on the Applied Science. In our experience, parents are more than willing to provide materials to be used in science labs. We usually have the secretary in the office or the science resource teacher handle the donations, but this can vary from school to school.

RE: SCIENCE SUPPLIES

Parents are vital to a school's science program and we are again looking for help. We need parents to donate items to the science center as we approach the Applied Science Unit. We also need parents to volunteer to help make some of the materials for lab. All items donated or made by you will become a permanent part of the Science Program for all the students to use. Place a check mark next to the items you can donate or help in making and send this form to the school's office. Once you have returned this form, we will contact you to make further arrangements.
