SPRING TIME AT TULE PONDS

Nature walks every
week at Tule Ponds to see how spring time brings wildlife
out. Children will investigate birds, frogs, turtles,
flowers, and nature as it unfolds. Children will
be able to see tadpoles and baby birds. They will
learn to identify the different birds that live in Fremont.
Students will use binoculars to view birds and microscopes
to view plankton. Each week
will be dependant on what nature provides us... but students
will all create projects that help them remember their
experience. They will also learn about how Ohlone
Indians built their homes in this beautiful area. Registration is for all six classes.

MATH
ADVENTURES-CANCELLED
This class will help inspire
your child to do well in math and to want to understand what
math is all about. Students will learn the how many math
principles were founded on trying to understand the physical
world. They will explore through hands-on materials
how angles, ratios, graphs, symmetry, measurement and number
theory. Foundations of algebra and geometry will be
illustrated with hands-on projects. If your child does not
have the fundamentals in math, this class will help them
understand the reason for math, especially when they
discover how math is an invaluable tool to scientists.
Limited to 10 students (code: math01) Students will
also receive rulers, calipers, and other math tools.
The development of this new class came from TPL Group... new
hands-on materials.
