17 acre site using storm water as restoration; owned by Alameda County Flood Control and Water Conservation District; managed by Math Science Nucleus

Great for teachers who are thinking about taking a field trip to Tule Ponds and get the background information.  First 110 field trips are free for schools in Alameda County.  Participants can sign up at any of the workshops.

Microscopes and Microorganisms

Learn natve vs non natve plants in the area.  Make a leaf identification chart that will help you bring into the class.  Learn about the different uses of our natives.  You will be able to take seeds (i.e. milkweed, poppies) to share with your students
