On Oct 14, 2017 we had a special ceramony to recognize the Roeding Family and their contribution to the development of Fremont.  Mayor Lily Mei awarded a certificate for the Roeding's 100 years in Fremont.  Dr. Kim Wallace, Fremont Unified School District Superintentent gave a personal insight into the Roeding Family.  Bruce and George III and their family were in attendance for this honor.  Dr. Joyce Blueford was Master of Ceramony and introduced all the wonderful contributions of the Roeding.  Suzanne Wolf of the City of Fremont introduced the importance of the artifacts that the Roeding Family has saved over the years.  Bruce and George III (Sandy), grandson's of George Roeding Sr were on hand to enjoy the recognition the family received for their long history with the City of Fremont.  George Jr (their father) was one of the citizen's responsible for the incorporation of City of Fremont in 1956.
